Vegan Goodness:
Today we ate:
- Breakfast: Green smoothies for Mom and LP. Dad had some juice and toast after sleeping in a bit.
- Lunch: Mom made carrot-ginger soup and biscuits.
- LP had some almonds for a snack
- Dinner: Setian pot roast with rutabega, potatoes and carrots.
- Mom and Dad had some homemade mint chip ice cream for dessert
Money Matters:
Today we stayed in since LP is nursing another cold. Mom was a cooking maniac and Dad was a cleaning maniac. No money spent, but have a full fridge and a cleaner house!
Thursday Baby Update:
Last week I took IP to music class with LP for the first time. She had a blast! She was a little cranky before we got there so I was a little worried about how it would all go. But she had a great time. She hung out in the Moby wrap, but she was turned to the side the whole time so that she could watch the action. At one point she was wiggling, but when I pulled her out and helped her “dance” she broke out in the biggest smile.
IP has also been enjoying singing at home. She smiles every time her big brother plays his harmonica for her, and she and Lucas have both been having fun with the Music Together CD. This week we have been playing music and singing a lot in the mornings since we have been stuck inside a lot (because of weather and colds). LP loves to bounce around and sing along, and IP seems to enjoy the music just as much. In fact, singing songs to her is the best way to calm her down and distract her these days. The G-man likes to sing “Peanut butter jelly time . . .” and now LP chimes in. Its fun to have some much music time together!
