- We all munched on almonds during a beautiful fall hike that made us thankful to leave among fall colors.
- Lunch: Leftover Lasagna
- THANKSGIVING Dinner!!
- Setian Roast
- Stuffing (with onion, celery, olives and homemade bread)
- Bourbon-laced Sweet Potatoes
- Roasted Brussels Sprouts
- Pumpkin Biscuits
- Chocolate Cream Pie
Money Matters:
Today we spent the day hiking, cooking, and being thankful. No money spent!
Thursday Baby Update:
Our little girl is getting more limber! Her newest trick involves trying to nibble on her own toes. She worked on trying to get those cute little feet near her mouth for 10 minutes this morning while Mom took a shower and got ready for the day. She is also trying her darndest to crawl. When we plop her on the floor and stick a toy just out of reach she wiggles and squirms until she can reach it. And then, as she does with all things now, it goes right to her mouth! IP is also doing better with sitting up. These days she sits in the Bumbo chair with us at the table during dinner time. It was nice that all four of us were at the table for Thanksgiving!
IP has also been sleeping well these days. She does sometimes wake up at 11pm, but after some cuddling will usually go right back to sleep until 4. She takes two naps a day (one around 9 and another around 2). We know she had a good nap and/or night sleep when she wakes up smiling and gooing. LP usually wants to get her when she wakes up from a nap, and she is always super happy to see him! Since she is more entertain-able now we can also leave LP “in charge” of IP for a few minutes. He will play pee-a-boo and talk to her until we come back. It’s nice to have someone to entertain the baby when we have to run off to the laundry room for fresh diapers!
