Today we ate:
- Breakfast: Green smoothies for Mom and LP and then toast for everyone
- Lunch: Leftovers again – mostly pasta and white winter soup
- Dinner: A tomato-based frittata with chickpeas (not so good) and home fries (yum!)
- Mom and Dad had the last of the chocolate chip cookies for dessert
Today we went to the library and then just stayed warm inside. Nothing spent!
Thursday Baby Update:
After I wrote about IP working on her “ba ba ba” phrasing, she clammed up. She didn’t talk much at all for about a month (although there was plenty of squealing and crying going on). However, this week, she has started chatting again, with a “ya ya ya ya”here and a “phbtttttt” there. When we leave the room now she will just start talking louder and louder instead of crying. At dinner time when she runs out of food (not from eating it, of course. Just from dropping/throwing it on the floor) she will go “ga ga ga ga!” until she gets my attention. This increased talking along with her ability to smack things with her hands intentionally (like her tray, the floor, her brother) has made her quite the expressive little baby! LP definitely enjoys his conversations with her!
