Workout Wednesday: Yoga

Delicious Vegan Dish of the Day:

One of our favorite dinners tonight – breakfast for dinner!  I made tofu scramble, tempeh bacon and waffles.  IP’s favorite was the waffles – she wolfed down half of one all on her own!

Money Matters:

Today we spent the following:

  • $21.31 for groceries at Whole Foods.
  • $27.45 for groceries at Trader Joe’s
  • $5.00 to join the Great Cloth Diaper Change – third year in a row!

Workout Wednesday

Today I went to my second yoga class through the Medford Family Network.  It is a free class for Medford parents, and so far I really like it.  About half the class is a discussion about parenting issues, and half is yoga.  I’ve done yoga in the past, but mostly in my house with dvds.  Having an actual yoga teacher help me with the poses has made a world of difference, and I’m really feeling the stretches!  I think having this class in the middle of the week (and, therefore, in the middle of my running schedule) is a great way to make sure I’m stretching and staying limber during this 1/2 marathon training.  Unfortunately the class is only five weeks long, so I’m on the hunt for good, and affordable, yoga classes in Medford for the summer.
