Delicious Vegan Dish of the Day:
Even though there was a heat wave, we had baked tempeh and sweet potatos with cornbread for dinner. Tomorrow night it will be something that does not require the oven!
Money Matters:
Today we went to the park and then chilled out at home. Nothing spent!
Thursday Baby Update:
IP is still babbling quite a bit. She likes to say “ba ba ba” when she is playing, and she is learning to use body language. Two arms up is “pick me up!” Shaking her head is “no, thank you.” Two arms flapping is “figure out what I want and give it to me!!” Crying usually means that Mom tried to clean her or suck out her disgusting boogers. However, there is one actual word of hers that is abundantly clear.
Dada
I get up with her in the morning (every morning). She looks around and say “Dada?” The G-man comes into the room and she races towards him saying “Dada, dada!!” I changer her diaper (oh the horror) and she cries “Dada, dada!” until he can swoop in and save her. It would be annoying if it weren’t so damn cute. Also, she has him wrapped around her little finger. I can’t wait to see how this works out when I go back to work and he has to change her diaper and clean her face 😉
