Top Cookbooks:

Vegan Planet by Robin Roberson
This was our first vegan cookbook, and it is really like the Joy of Cooking for the new vegan.  This is the book that not only taught me how to press tofu, but also how to sautee onion, how to salt eggplant and how to cook in general.

Veganomicon: The Ultimate Vegan Cookbook by  Isa Chandra Moskowitz and Terry Hope Romero
A fun and thorough vegan cookbook that runs the gamut from sushi to brunch to ice cream.

Vegan on the Cheap by Robin Roberson
Just got it recently, but Robin Robertson has done it again – everything we make from here is delicious, and doesn’t break the bank!

The Vegan Table by Colleen Patrick-Goudreau
A FANTASTIC and beautiful cookbook from one of my favorite activists.  While this cookbook is designed for entertaining, we use recipes from it all time, even when it is just for us and the kiddo.

The Joy of Vegan Baking by Colleen Patrick-Goudreau
If you thought being vegan meant giving up dessert, guess again!  This cookbook is where I go when I need a chocolate chip cookie fix, muffins in the morning, or chocolate mousse at night.  Every dessert lover needs this book!

Compassionate Cooks and the Food for Thought podcast
This podcast is what made me finally go vegan.  In this podcast Colleen answers all the most important questions that many of us have, vegetarian or not!

Becoming Vegan: The Complete Reference to Plant-Base Nutrition, Comprehensive Edition
This book is a vegan bible.  Any and all nutrition questions answered!  This book was my go-to book during my vegan pregnancy, and we still refer to it often when we have nutrition questions about our growing vegan kiddo.
