Workout Wednesday: The long run

Delicious Vegan Dish of the Day:

Tonight I made Trader Joe’s 17 bean and barely soup for dinner.  The pre-mixed legumes are super cheap and the soup is super easy to make as long as you soak the beans the night before.  Paired with some beer bread it was delicious!

Money Matters:

Today we spent the following:

  • $45.31 for groceries at Whole Foods.

Workout Wednesday

I’ve been doing long runs with a friend the past few weekends.  Last Saturday we ran seven miles, which was my longest run in quite a while.  It was tough, but we did pretty well, coming in at a 10 minute mile average.  On Tuesday I did my normal three mile run, and I was struck by how boring it was without the company!  I can’t wait to go on a long run again soon, with my running buddy by my side 🙂
